New siding, windows and French doors on a brick house

The frame side of a brick house in Broomall was stripped and re-sided, and inside we installed windows, French doors, closet doors and crown.

This house in Broomall is brick on part of the house with frame walls on the rest. In early May 2025 the frame walls were re-sided, and inside we replaced windows and doors and added trim.

Stripping the wall

The May 1 photos show the old siding off and the wall down to the sheathing, around the back door and behind the air conditioning units. This is when you find out what the old siding was hiding. Soft spots get cut out before anything new goes on.

New siding

By May 2 the wall was in white lap siding, with a new door and new window trim, finished against the brick chimney.

Inside: windows, doors and trim

Inside, a row of four double-hung windows was installed and trimmed in white. French doors with divided lites went in, along with new double closet doors. New crown molding went up at the ceiling.
