In late November 2025 we installed a run of black glass doors, sidelights and windows across the front of an empty commercial space in Newtown Square.
The opening
The whole front wall of the unit is glass: a pair of doors in the middle, sidelights and windows to either side, all in black frames with divided lites. With that much glass, the wall framing around it carries the load, so the header and the jambs were checked before the units were set.

Units in a run have to be set dead level and in one plane, or the joints between them open and the doors rub. Each unit was shimmed, fastened and sealed before the next went in.
